Track Tour Guidelines

This opportunity is open to everyone with a valid driver's license and a street-legal vehicle.

You probably already know that Road Atlanta is one of the top tracks in the Nation and ranks up there with legendary circuits Worldwide...but did you know we can get you on the track to drive tour laps during our Club Race weekend events?

There will be Track Tours at lunch time  for a very reasonable donation to the Worker Reimbursement Fund.

Check the schedule for each event to see when and where to assemble - Click Here for a Map - and don't worry, we will be doing it at very safe speeds.

TRACK TOUR GUIDELINES

1. Assemble at the end of Vendor Row (inside the track near Turn 3) at 11:15 AM - this is the road extension from the Suzuki Bridge crossover at Turn 11.  Please drive straight down that road until you approach the Turn 3 area.

2. Everyone in the car must sign an SCCA waiver and wear a seat belt or other restraint.  Please return the waiver sheet and pen to the Marshal in order to get your Track Tour vehicle sticker.  A $20 donation per car is requested - please have exact change - extra donations are appreciated, though!

3. No passing is allowed.  If you want to reposition your car or switch drivers, see #9 below.

4. Speed Limit is 65 mph.  If you can't maintain pace and backing cars up behind you, please see #9 below.

5. There will be a Pace Car - please do not leave large gaps.

6. There will be Observers at various corner stations around the track.

7. Anyone driving aggressively will terminate the Tour for everyone

8. "Driving in an aggressive manner" includes, but is not limited to:
- Off-pavement excursions
- Excessive speed or squealing the tires
- Bouncing over rumble strips
- Hitting any objects or another car

9. To reposition your car on track or change drivers, come into the pits.  Exit the track at the far left under the Suzuki Bridge at Turn 11 - raise your fist to signal vehicles behind you.  Stop your vehicle in a pit stall along the railing to change drivers then get an OK from the Marshal to re-enter the track.

10. A $20 donation per car will go to the Worker Reimbursement Fund.

11.  At the end of the Tour, exit the track to the far left under the Suzuki Bridge and take the first ramp past the Tower up to the Paddock.  Drive with Caution - Paddock speed is much slower.
