February SARRC & 6 Hour Enduro

Mark your calendars, the Atlanta Region of the Sports Car Club of America is starting its season with a Regional/SARRC event combined with a 6 Hour Enduro.  Get your cars and crews ready for a very challenging and competive weekend.  The 6 Hour will start at noon on Saturday February 21st.  Get the opportunity to literally drive off into the sunset at Road Atlanta. 

In addition to the Enduro, a full roster of SARRC classes will be held on Sunday February the 22nd.  The Supps and Schedule will be coming soon, so stay tuned to the site for more information. 

 

 

Trans Am Returns To Road Atlanta

National Drivers now is your chance to share a weekend with the Trans-Am Series.  The March National will be a National and Trans-Am event. 

The Atlanta Region SCCA is honored to be hosting the inaugural round of the 2009 Trans-Am season as part of our March 21-22 National weekend. Since that announcement at the PRI Show last week there's been a lot of heated discussion on various forums about how this will short-change the National and Pro-IT drivers that have supported this event over the years. Hey - Did I See You at the Holiday Party?

RudolphAtlanta Region members and guests celebrated another year together in motorsports and kicked off the Holiday Season in high style on Saturday night, December 6th. 

The Loudermilk Conference Center was a wonderful site for our annual event and the evening was filled with good spirits and food for every taste.  Members also contributed dozens of new toys for children who need a special holiday themselves.  Thanks to the Marines “Toys for Tots” campaign we could channel our SCCA giving spirit to a good cause.

Awards were presented after dinner to honor the Region’s best in Solo and Club Racing as well as volunteer categories. Party Pictures Click Here  Thanks to Perry Bennett for the pictures.
