The PRO IT Series is a points series of the Atlanta Region SCCA and is comprised of sanctioned regional races operated during Club Race weekends. Points are accumulated within the car classes outlined in the Rules that can be found on our website. Cash payouts are awarded from the enrty fees for the series and contributions by sponsors. The following sponsors are presenting the 2008 Atlanta Region Pro IT Series:
Appalachian Race Tire and Hoosier
Appalachian Race Tire has contributed $1,000 to the Pro IT Championship prize fund for all classes. They will provide monetary product credits towards the purchase of race tires from Appalachian Race Tire with a minimum value of $5,000 and a potential value of $9,000; the schedule of product credits will be announced soon. Eligible classes for tire credits are ITR(ITU), ITS, ITA, ITB(ITC), and ISM.
All cars/trucks must display an Appalachian Race Tire decal prominently on both sides of the vehicle. A Hoosier decal must be prominently displayed on both sides and the front of the vehicle. To receive product credits, eligible cars must run Hoosier tires purchased from Appalachian Race Tire.
Traqmate
Traqmate has contributed $2,000 to the Pro IT Championship prize fund and a Traqmate Complete system valued at $1,000. The Traqmate Complete system will be awarded to a Pro IT driver at the end of the 2008 series season. Drivers must enter 4 Pro IT events to be eligible for the Traqmate Complete system. A drawing for the system will take place at the championship award presentations. All cars/trucks participating in the Pro IT series must prominently display a Traqmate decal on each side of the vehicle.
Pro IT sponsor requirements
All cars participating in the Pro IT are required to display decals as required by sponsors. Other requirements to qualify for products are not necessary to participate in Pro IT events.
